MEDIUM-SIZED COMPANY
(компания среднего размера) Согласно Закону о компаниях 1981 г., в Великобритании это компания, имеющая меньшие, чем указано ниже, показатели по как минимум двум из трех параметров: (1) валовые активы-2 800 000 ф. ст.; (2) оборот-5 750 000 ф. ст.; (3) средняя численность занятых-250 человек. Если такие компании не относятся к открытым публичным компаниям с ограниченной ответственностью (public limited companies), к банковским, страховым или судоходным компаниям, они могут зарегистрировать свои сокращенные/краткие счета прибылей и убытков (profit and loss accounts) в Регистре компаний (см.: modified accounts (модифицированные счета)), но своим акционерам они должны предоставить всю предусмотренную законом информацию.
